Day 1: Arrival at Cairo international Airport Your Egypt tour begins at your chosen hotel in Cairo. Upon arrival to Cairo Int. Airport, you will be met with our English-speaking representative who will help and assist you in all formalities. Transfer to your hotel and overnight in Cairo. Meals Included No Meals
Day 2: Full Day Pyramids and Sakkara - Cairo ON Breakfast at hotel. Then you will be met by our English Egyptologist tour guide to start your first day tour by visiting Pyramids of Giza "Khufu, Khafre & Menkaure", where the greatness has been embodied in three pyramids with a limestone statue of Sphinx guarding the whole area. Then proceed to one of our local restaurant to have your lunch. After that you will proceed to the city of Sakkara, where you will be so excited by exploring The Step Pyramid of king Djoser. This pyramid has a very nice story, when king Djoser asked his chief Architect Imhotep to create something different, so that the king could be buried at. As a result the well-known Architect creates the Step pyramid, which surprised the king so much since it was considered to be a new achievement in this period. Day 3: Egyptian Museum-Citadel and Khan El Khalili - Cairo ON Breakfast at hotel. Then our English speaking guide will meet you at the hotel to accompany you to start your second day tour in Cairo. Your tour today is completely different and more excited, as the best of our monuments are awaiting you. Start your tour with The Egyptian Museum, which is considered to be one of the most important museums in Egypt housing the Pharaonic monuments including those of the well-known king Tutankhamen. Lunch meal at one of our local restaurant. After Lunch, you will be transferred to Old Cairo area, where you can visit Citadel of Salah El-Din, which played as a very important role in protecting Egypt, as it was considered the seat of power for more than 700 years. Then proceed to one of the most interesting and old market in Egypt, Khan El-Khalili, which consider as one of the stunning bazaars in the Middle East. After finishing your day tour, you will transfer to your hotel in Cairo. Meals Included Breakfast Lunch
Day 4: Islamic & Coptic Cairo Tour-Cairo ON Breakfast at hotel. Then you will start your tour to visit Islamic and Coptic Cairo. This tour is a very important as you will explore the greatness of the history of Egypt. You will explore the Islamic history and the other Coptic one. You will visit Ahmed Ibn Tulun Mosque; It is the oldest intact, functioning Islamic monument in Cairo. It also survives as a rare example of the era and architecture of the classical period of Islam, i.e. the ninth and tenth centuries, for it was dominant in the Islamic world. Then proceed to the Mosque of Sultan Hassan, which considered stylistically the most compact and unified of all Cairo monuments. The building was constructed for Sultan Hassan bin Mohammad bin Qala'oun in 1256 AD as a mosque and religious school for all sects. Then you will visit El Refa’i Mosque, it is separated from the mosque of Sultan Hassan by a pedestrian street.Take your lunch at one of our local restaurants. After that, you will start your Coptic Tour, you will start with the Hanging Church, (The Church of the Virgin Mary), built into the walls of the Water Gate of the Roman fortress. It is possibly the oldest Christian church in Egypt, dating to around the 4th Century. Then you will visit Church of St. Sergius, (Abu Serga), which legend has it is built atop one of the sites where the Holy Family rested on their flight from Herod. Continuing on this path brings one first to the Ben Ezra Synagogue, which is Egypt's oldest and dates to the 9th Century. Day 6: Hurghada Free Day Breakfast at your hotel and free day by your own. Optional Excursion: Snorkeling Trip to Giftun Island : Breakfast & Snorkeling Trip at Giftun Island Hurghada: We will pick you up from your hotel for a fantastic snorkeling trip with desert island relaxation on the beautiful Red Sea, where we will do our snorkeling in different spots which are full of corals and magnificent colorful fish with a chance to swim with dolphins, enjoying the water sports activities on Giftun Island and the national park with open buffet lunch aboard the cruise then return back to the jetty and then transferred to your hotel. Day 7: Hurghada Free Day Breakfast at your hotel and free day by your own. Optional Excursion: Hurghada Sunset Desert Safari by Jeep 4x4: Breakfast at your hotel and then we will have a trip to: Hurghada Sunset Desert Safari by Jeep 4x4): You will be picked up from the hotel by Toyota landcruiser 4x4 WD, then driven 35 km in the Eastern desert of Egypt to a Bedouin village for a tour to see their life, traditions then you will ride a camel and witness the amazing sunset view with barbeque dinner, mineral water and soft drinks included, watching stars by night while driving back from Bedouin village to your hotel. Day 8: Transfer from Hurghada to Lwor-Sound & Light Show at Karnak Temple- Luxor ON Breakfast at your hotel in Hurghada and check out, then we will transfer you to to Luxor by a Private vehicle. Upon arrival to Luxor, you will transfer to your hotel to rest and refresh. Evening Sound and Light Show at Karnak temple: Have you ever wondered what life have been thousands years ago? You will know about them through the splendid Sound and Light Show at the Karnak Temples, the greatest example of worship in history and was dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. It was constructed from the beginning of the Middle Kingdom to the Greco Roman Kingdom. You will be transferred to see the Karnak Temples where you will attend the spectacular Sound and Light production. This spectacle will take about 60-minute first takes you around the temple grounds, and finally the last act is played while you are seated along the Great Sacred Lake.The performance relates the history of Luxor as the capital of the ancient world. Day 9: Hot Air Balloon Ride Over the West Bank-Luxor West Bank-Board on Nile Cruise-Luxor ON We will pick you up from your hotel to cross to the west bank to enjoy balloon riding, transfer to marine, Enjoy soft drinks before you take the motor boat to the west bank, then you will be transferred to the take off Area where you are going to start your balloon ride in the sky of the biggest open-air museum (Luxor). The balloon ride takes about 40 minutes, before you land again. Then you will meet your private tour guide with your breakfast box and start your magical tour in Thebes, the sacred land by exploring the wet bank of Luxor including Valley of the Kings, which considers as the royal cemetery of the Theban kings and rulers of ancient Egypt, and the place where our Pharaohs were buried. Enter tomb of King Tut Ankh Amun After that, you will proceed to visit Haowrd Carter house, visit the home that once belonged to the man who discovered the tomb of King Tut. Then proceed to visit Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari. This temple is considered as one of the most wonderful examples of the Architecture in ancient Egypt, because it was totally carved inside the mountain. At the end of the tour you will visit Colossi of Memnon, which is belonging to king Amenhotep III. After that you will transfer to your ship to check in & have your lunch. Day 10: Luxor East Bank-Sail to Edfu & ON Breakfast on Nile Cruise. Then you will discover the East bank of Luxor including Karnak Temples Complex, which are the largest structures ever build in the history of the mankind. The principal building is that of god Amun Ra, since it was considered the house of god on the earth, the earlier structure date back to the middle kingdom, but there are some references which refer to the earlier buildings as old as the 3rd dynasty. Later on, you will proceed to visit Temple of Luxor, which was built by one of the kings of the 12th dynasty and completed by the well know king Ramses II. This temple was located in the heart of ancient Thebes and, like Karnak, was dedicated to the main/chief god Amun Re. At night, Egyptian folkloric show will be operated by the staff. Day 11: Edfu-Kom Ombo-Sail to Aswan & ON Breakfast on the cruise. Then the guide will take you in a mysterious journey to land of secrets. This guided tour of today begins by visiting one of the most wonderful temples in Egypt, Temple of Horus in Edfu, which is considered to be one of the most well preserved temples in Egypt. After that, you will revert back to your ship. Lunch will be served on board during sailing to the city of Kom Ombo. Afternoon, you will proceed to explore Temple of Kom Ombo, where the two gods Sobek & Haroeris were worshipped for a while. Get back to your ship and enjoy your lunch on the sun deck, watching the unique landscape of the great river Nile. On its banks the ancient Egyptian civilization has been created and flourished. After the tour, you will get back to your ship, rest and refresh on board. Dinner meal will be served on board during sailing to the city of Aswan. Late evening arrive to Aswan and overnight. Day 12: Aswan Tours - Aswan ON Breakfast will be served on board your ship. Later on, you will join your Egyptologist tour guide to discover the great city of Aswan, including The High Dam, which has been erected by the Egyptian president Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1960 AD to protect Egypt from the Nile flood. After that you will enjoy sailing on the Nile River by a motor boat till reach Agilika Island, where you will visit Temple of Philae, which was erected during the Gaeco-Roman period and was dedicated to goddess Isis (mother of god Horus). Finally you will be escorted to visit one of the marvelous sightseeing in Aswan, The Unfinished Obelisk, which was made out of red granite and was dedicated to god Amun Ra. After finishing your day tour, you will get back to your ship. Lunch will be served on board. Afternoon tea will be served on board. At night free at leisure. Dinner and overnight in Aswan. Day 13: Disembarkation from Cruise - Abu Simbel Temple-Fly back to Cairo-Cairo ON Breakfast box from your Nile cruise and check out. Later on, you will be transferred by private A-C van to Abu Simbel. The original site was known as Meha in the ancient times and was first documented in the 18th Dynasty, when Ay and Horemheb had rock-cut chapels hewn in the hills to the south. Upon arrival, you will proceed to visit Abu Simbel Temples, which were built by king Ramses II. The first temple (the biggest one) was built by Ramesses II and being dedicated to the famous god Rahorakhty. While the second temple (the smaller one) was dedicated to king himself and his beautiful wife queen Nefertari. After finishing your day tour, you will drive back toward Aswan (distance takes approx. 03 hrs by car). Then we will transfer you to Aswan airport to fly back to Cairo.
